What causes this issue?

You assigned a position number that is not in sequence with the already
existing position numbers (for example 1, 2, 3, 5).

System Response

The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.

How to fix this error?

When you create or change a perspective, assign the position numbers in
such a way that there are no gaps between the position numbers.
