What causes this issue?

Variables that represent time characteristics must have the selection
types <LS>Single Value</> or <LS>Range</>. This variable has another
selection type.

System Response

When generating an instance document, the user can only enter a single
value or a range for the affected variable .

How to fix this error?

The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.
