How To Fix UCT8255 - Target selection for field &1 does not select data

What causes this issue?

A target selection for field &V1& is defined. This selection does not
select any data.

System Response

The method cannot post any data.

How to fix this error?

Examine the selection condition for target field &V1& in the Customizing
settings for the method on the <LS>Selection</> tab page. Make sure that
the selection condition is suitable for selecting master data. If you
use a complex selection (single selection), you can use the test run
function in the dialog box for the single selection to check which
master data is selected.

The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.
