What causes this issue?

For reporting additional financial data with non-initial restatement
characteristic values, you may specify only one single value for the
restatement in <LS>Restatement</> reporting mode. The system then
automatically determines all the restatement characteristic values that
are referenced by the restatement characteristic value in the current
report. (To do so, it analyzes the <LS>Reference</> settings in the
restatement master data.) The system extends the data selection based on
the restatement in the current report to include the reference
restatement.

System Response

The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.

How to fix this error?

Enter a single value for the restatement in the definition of the
current report on on the selection screen for the list of additional
financial data.
