  • What causes this issue?

    In the Customizing settings for data basis &V2&, you have assigned role
    &V1& in the data model.
    However, you can only use role &V1& if you have activated one of the
    following business functions:
    <LS>Financials, Group Closing</> (FIN_ACC_GROUP_CLOSE)
    <LS>Financials, Group Close, Restatement Monitor</> (FIN_ACC_GC_RESTAT)

    System Response

    The Customizing settings for data basis &V2& are inconsistent and cannot
    be saved.

    How to fix this error?

    Adjust the role assignment by using a role other than &V1& or check the
    activation status of the business functions listed above.
    Note that once you activate business functions, this <ZH>cannot</> be
    reversed.

    Procedure for System Administrators

    The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.
