What causes this issue?

The document type is blank, but it is required for the document data
stream.

System Response

The data will not be written.

How to fix this error?

Make sure that the source data contains the correct document type and a
suitalbe mapping rule has been defined for the characteristic
<LS>document type</>.

Procedure for System Administrators

The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.
