TK602
- No authorization to make changes ?The SAP error message TK602, which states "No authorization to make changes," typically occurs when a user attempts to perform an action that requires specific authorizations that they do not possess. This can happen in various contexts, such as when trying to modify data in a transaction, change configuration settings, or access certain functionalities within the SAP system.
Cause:
- Missing Authorizations: The user does not have the necessary roles or authorizations assigned to their user profile to perform the action.
- Role Configuration: The roles assigned to the user may not include the necessary permissions for the specific transaction or object.
- Authorization Objects: The relevant authorization objects that control access to certain functions may not be properly configured or assigned.
- User Group Restrictions: The user may belong to a group that has restricted access to certain transactions or data.
Solution:
- Check User Roles: Verify the roles assigned to the user. This can be done by using transaction code
SU01
(User Maintenance) to check the user’s profile.- Review Authorization Objects: Use transaction code
SU53
to analyze the last authorization check. This will show which authorization objects were checked and which ones failed.- Consult with Security Team: If you do not have the necessary access to modify roles or authorizations, contact your SAP security or basis team to request the required permissions.
- Role Adjustment: If you have the necessary permissions, you can adjust the roles using transaction code
PFCG
(Profile Generator) to include the necessary authorizations.- Testing: After making changes, test the transaction again to ensure that the issue is resolved.
