Message text: Font height 000 implies a scalable font; set an attribute
You created/changed a printer font with font size 000, but the
attribute "Scalable font" is inactive.
The system issues an error message.
Scalable fonts must be defined with font size 000. In addition, in this
release the attribute "Scalable font" must be activated. The SAPscript
printer driver needs these two pieces of information to select the
correct printer commands for the selection and size of the font.
If you want to define a device type compatible to Releases 3.x, the
fields "Printcontrol 1" and "Printcontrol 2" must have the same
contents. In this case, the attribute "Scalable font" can remain
deactivated.
The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.

TD369
- Font height 000 implies a scalable font; set an attribute ?The SAP error message TD369 indicates that there is an issue with the font settings in your SAP system. Specifically, the message "Font height 000 implies a scalable font; set an attribute" suggests that the system is trying to use a font that is defined as scalable but does not have a specific height set, which is causing the error.
Cause:
- Font Configuration: The font being used in the SAPscript or Smart Forms is set to a scalable font, but the height attribute is not defined. Scalable fonts require a specific height to be set for proper rendering.
- Missing Attributes: The font attributes (like height, width, etc.) may not be properly configured in the SAPscript or Smart Forms settings.
- System Settings: There may be issues with the printer settings or the output device configuration that do not support the specified font.
Solution:
Set Font Height:
- Go to the SAPscript or Smart Forms where the font is being used.
- Check the font settings and ensure that a specific height is defined for the font. You can do this by navigating to the font settings and specifying a height value (e.g., 10, 12, etc.).
Change Font Type:
- If the scalable font is not necessary, consider changing it to a non-scalable font that does not require height specifications.
- You can do this in the SAPscript or Smart Forms by selecting a different font type that is compatible with your output requirements.
Check Output Device Configuration:
- Ensure that the output device (printer) is correctly configured to support the fonts being used. You can check this in the device configuration settings in SAP.
- Make sure that the printer supports the font type and size you are trying to use.
Test Output:
- After making the changes, test the output to ensure that the error is resolved and that the document is printed correctly.
