• Message text: No area code can be selected - no telephony server maintained

What causes this issue?

You can only select an area code which is assigned to a telephony server
maintained in the SAP system. However, no servers are currently
maintained in the system.

System Response

You cannot enter an area code. You can enter your extension number. Your
work center settings will then be saved in incomplete form and can be
completed at a later date by selecting 'SAPphone -> Settings
(extended)'.

How to fix this error?

Inform your system administrator and ask for a telephony server to be
created.
