What causes this issue?

You tried to change an attribute of a folder.

System Response

This was prevented either because you are not authorized to make the
change or the change would have resulted in an inconsistent status in
the folder hierarchy.

How to fix this error?

This depends on the attribute in the error message:
Attribute <ZH>Folder area</>:
You tried to change a client folder to a group folder. This is not
possible as one of the subordinate folders is a client folder.
Make sure that all folders below this folder are group folders and then
make the change.
