    You have selected the BC Set activation link system setting 'Do Not
    Create'. If you save this setting, the following BC Set functions <ZH>no
    longer work</>:
    Lock table values flagged as 'Fix' in BC Set activation.
    Trace of the source of values from BC Set activations, in the view
    maintenance transactions (SM30, SM34) and customizing project processing
    (SPRO).
    &DEPENDENCIES&
    BC Set activations after deactivating activation links, create no new
    activation links, and do not update existing ones. Data lost cannot be
    recovered.
    The view maintenance transactions (SM30, SM34) and the customizing
    project processing (SPRO), still use all activation links which were
    created before activation links were deactivated. These transactions may
    show obsolete and/or incomplete information.

    How to fix this error?

    Only deactivate the creation of activation links if you need neither the
    table value lock nor BC Set activation source value trace, system-wide.
    The deactivation of the creation of activation links applies system-wide
    , to all users. In case of doubt, keep the default setting 'Create
    Locally'.

    The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.
