You can only physically delete defined assignments that have not been
saved yet and future assignments.
Expired assignments and assignments that are still valid cannot be
deleted. The valid-from date of the assignment to delete cannot be
earlier than the current date.

System Response

The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.
