  • Show details Hide details
  • What causes this issue?

    Profile '&v1&&v1&' already contained authorization for authorization
    object '&v3&&v3&'. The new authorization for authorization object '&v2
    &&v2&' was generated nevertheless.

    How to fix this error?

    This is not an immediate error. However, it can lead to unexpected
    system behavior. Read SAP Note 814651.
    SAP recommends the following:
    Do not specify a name for the authorization to be generated. This will
    be generated automatically.
    Or: Always specify different names for authorizations for different
    authorization objects so that they are generated in different profiles.
    This does not affect the authorization because the authorization objects
    are checked separately anyway. However, you are avoiding the problems
    mentioned in the note above.
    Make sure that there is not a profile of the same name for any of the
    authorization names specified in the DataStore object.

    Procedure for System Administrators

    The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.
