SAP Error Message - Details

  • Message class: RSRV -

  • Message number: 075

  • Message text: Check existence of values for navigation attributes in characteristic &1

  • Show details Hide details
  • Description
This test checks whether the values for the navigation attributes of a
characteristic (in the master data table P or Q (according to
time-dependency)) also exist in the <EX>SID</> table of the navigation
attribute. For this purpose, the number of entries in the master data
table (P or Q tables) for the characteristic are initially compared
with the number of entries in the X table, whose navigation attribute
<AB>SID</> occurs in the <EX><AB>SID</> table of the navigation
attribute. If these numbers are not the same, then the excess entries
are specified, and the first 50 are issued. Based on this procedure,
    the test runs quickly.
    Note:
Inconsistencies between the P and X or between the Q and Y tables are
    revealed with this test.
In contrast to the test "Compare the Size of the P and X Tables with
the Q and Y Tables", this test gives information about which navigation
attribute is the source for inconsistency between the tables.
An inconsistency leads to incorrect numbers in reporting: Missing
entries operate like (invisable) filters; the case of having more
entries in the X than in the P table or having more entries in the Y
than in the Q table should not happen and points to severe
inconsistencies. Possible cause: System errors when deleting master
    data.
    Repairs
    An inconsistency can be repaired.
