Message text: Role user is maintained but not consistent
The role user used to create roles in SAP HANA is not consistent and
cannot be used when replicating or removing BW Analysis authorizations
to or from SAP HANA.
The replication or removal of BW Analysis authorizations in SAP HANA is
not processed to prevent long runtimes or timeouts.
Make sure that the role is consistent. To check the role user state, go
to transaction RS2HANA_CHECK and choose "Check Consistency" ->
"Technical Users" -> "Role User". Resolve all displayed issues.
You can also remove the DB Connection Name setting in transaction
RS2HANA_VIEW. If you still select option M (Multiple Roles) for setting
Assignment Type however, please note that this will result in long
runtimes and probably time outs during transport or activation of a BW
object with external SAP HANA views.
The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.

RS2HANA_AUTH433
- Role user is maintained but not consistent ?The SAP error message RS2HANA_AUTH433 indicates that there is an inconsistency in the role assignment for a user in the context of SAP HANA. This typically occurs when the role assigned to a user does not match the expected configuration or when there are discrepancies in the authorization objects.
Cause:
- Role Inconsistency: The role assigned to the user may have been changed or deleted, leading to inconsistencies in the authorization data.
- Missing Authorizations: The user may not have the necessary authorizations that are required for the role to function correctly.
- Transport Issues: If roles were transported from one system to another, there may be inconsistencies due to missing objects or dependencies.
- Changes in Role Definition: If the role definition has been modified after the user was assigned the role, it may lead to inconsistencies.
Solution:
- Check Role Assignment: Verify the role assigned to the user in transaction code SU01 (User Maintenance). Ensure that the role is correctly assigned and active.
- Review Role Definition: Use transaction code PFCG (Role Maintenance) to check the role definition. Ensure that all necessary authorizations are included and that there are no missing objects.
- Consistency Check: Perform a consistency check for the role using the PFCG transaction. This can help identify any inconsistencies in the role definition.
- Reassign Role: If necessary, remove the role from the user and reassign it. This can sometimes resolve inconsistencies.
- Authorization Trace: Use transaction code SU53 to analyze authorization failures after the user attempts to perform an action. This can provide insights into what specific authorizations are missing.
- Transport Management: If the issue arose after a transport, ensure that all necessary objects were included in the transport request and that they are present in the target system.
