Message text: Cancellation not poss. because decoupled conf. already post-executed
You cannot reverse this backflush as the subsequent, separate backflush
has already been carried out. Two reasons exist for this:
The goods issues and/or the production activities for the selected
backflush were originally separated and, in the mean time, these
separated postings have been carried out.
The selected backflush is the backflush in which the goods issues
and/or production activities separated from other backflushes were
posted.
In both cases, the backflush can no longer be reversed.
The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.

- Cancellation not poss. because decoupled conf. already post-executed ?The SAP error message RM770, which states "Cancellation not possible because decoupled confirmation already post-executed," typically occurs in the context of production order confirmations and is related to the handling of confirmations in the production process. This error indicates that you are trying to cancel a confirmation for a production order, but the system has already processed a decoupled confirmation for that order.
Cause:
- Decoupled Confirmation: This error arises when a confirmation has been posted for a production order that is decoupled from the original order. Decoupled confirmations are often used in scenarios where the production process is split into different stages or when confirmations are recorded in a different manner than the original order.
- Status of the Order: The production order may have already been completed or have a status that prevents further changes, such as being technically completed or closed.
- System Settings: Certain configurations in the system may restrict the ability to cancel confirmations once they have been processed.
Solution:
- Check Confirmation Status: Review the status of the confirmations for the production order. You can do this by navigating to the production order in SAP and checking the confirmation history.
- Review Decoupled Confirmations: If there are decoupled confirmations, you may need to reverse or adjust those confirmations before you can cancel the original confirmation.
- Use Transaction Codes: Use transaction codes like CO13 (Display Production Order) or CO15 (Enter Production Order Confirmation) to check the details of the confirmations and their statuses.
- Consult with a SAP Consultant: If you are unable to resolve the issue, it may be necessary to consult with a SAP functional consultant or your IT department to understand the specific configurations and settings in your SAP environment.
- Adjust Order Status: If the order is in a status that prevents cancellation, you may need to change the status of the order (if permissible) or follow the appropriate process to handle the order.
