  • Show details Hide details
  • What causes this issue?

You try to delete a Customizing entry for a particular number range
interval. Since the system has already digitally signed documents that
have a number from the corresponding number range interval, deleting
    this entry is illegal.

    System Response

The system checks the relevant application data and prevents the
deletion if digital signature data exist that depend from the relevant
    number range interval.

    How to fix this error?

The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.

    Procedure for System Administrators

You cannot reuse the affected number range interval value.
If you want to deactivate the digital signature generation to reuse the
remaining numbers from the interval to post documents that do not
require digital signature data, proceed as follows:
Split the remaining numbers from the used numbers by a redefinition of
    the number range<(>,<)>
Create new number range(s) and assign the remaining numbers that you
    have split<(>,<)>
Record the new number range in the <ZK>Assign Digital Signature
Attributes to Number Ranges</> customizing view for the digital
    signature generation
