- The scenario still has characteristics ?The SAP error message QISR011 ("The scenario still has characteristics") typically occurs in the context of Quality Management (QM) when you are trying to delete or modify a Quality Inspection (QI) scenario that still has associated characteristics. This can happen when you attempt to delete a QI scenario that is still linked to inspection characteristics or when you try to make changes to a scenario that is still in use.
Cause:
The primary cause of this error is that the QI scenario you are trying to modify or delete is still associated with one or more inspection characteristics. In SAP QM, inspection characteristics are used to define the specific attributes that need to be measured or evaluated during quality inspections. Remove or Modify Characteristics:
- If you need to delete the scenario, you must first remove the associated characteristics. This can be done by:
- Navigating to the inspection plan or characteristic and unlinking or deleting the characteristics that are associated with the scenario.
- Ensure that no inspection plans or other objects are using the characteristics.
Check for Dependencies:
- Ensure that there are no other dependencies or references to the scenario in other parts of the system, such as inspection lots or quality notifications.
Retry the Action:
- Once you have removed the characteristics, try to delete or modify the QI scenario again.
