    Creation of an automatic defect for the inspection characteristic was
    canceled because a defect code and code group could not be determined
    for the rejected characteristic.

    System Response

    No defect record was created.

    How to fix this error?

    To analyze the problem, create a defect for the characteristic manually.
    Use the <LS>Record Defect</> app to record a defect of category
    <LS>Generic Defect</>. As this manually created defect record is not
    automatically linked to the inspection characteristic, you may want to
    add this reference manually as well.
    Also check the default defect code and code group maintained for the
    inspection characteristic in case of rejection.

    Procedure for System Administrators

    The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.
