    Solution:

To resolve the Q6606 error, you can take the following steps:

    1. Wait for Completion: If you are aware of a delete program that is currently running, wait for it to complete. Once the delete operation finishes, you should be able to proceed with your intended action.

    2. Check for Running Jobs: Use transaction codes like SM37 (Job Monitoring) to check if there are any background jobs related to the delete operation that are still running. If you find such jobs, you can monitor their status.

    3. Identify Locks: Use transaction SM12 to check for any locks on the infostructure or file. If you find locks that are not being released, you may need to investigate further to determine the cause.

    4. Contact Administrator: If you are unable to identify the cause or if the delete program seems to be stuck, contact your SAP Basis administrator. They can help investigate the issue further and may need to terminate the running job if it is not completing as expected.

    5. Review Logs: Check the application logs or system logs for any additional information that might indicate why the delete program is taking longer than expected or if there are any errors associated with it.

    6. Retry the Operation: Once you have confirmed that the delete program has completed and there are no locks, you can retry the operation that triggered the error.

    Related Information:

    • Infostructure: In SAP, an infostructure is a data structure that stores summarized information for reporting and analysis purposes. It is often used in the context of logistics and production planning.
