Message number: 138
Message text: There are validation rules requiring data from this process step.
This warning message is displayed because some validation rules need the
data (for example, payroll data) provided by this process step.
This process step can be repeated with a subset of its original
selection.
For example, after the payroll administrator resolves alerts by updating
the master data of relevant employees, the payroll process manager can
choose to repeat the Run Payroll step, and the system prompts a dialog
box whether to repeat the step for all employees or only for the
employees that had alerts.
This process step provides the following data for validation rules.
In Support Package 80, only payroll data is supported in Configuration
Workbench.
For example, if a process step provides payroll data for validation
rules, when the payroll administrator chooses the <LS>Validate </>button
to validate an alert in Alert Management, the process step is executed
and provides updated payroll data to be rechecked by the validation
rules.
The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.
If you remove your selection of any of the checkboxes, when a payroll
administrator clicks the <LS>Validate </>button to validate an alert in
Alert Management, this step will not be executed and therefore does not
update the payroll data to be checked by the validation rules.
