Message text: Validation rule &1 is not allowed.
You cannot include the validation rule in the policy. The possible
reasons are the following:
The specified validation rule does not exist.
The country/region of the validation rule does not match the
country/region of the policy.
Validation rule is not supported in Configuration Workbench (for
example, the validation rule does not support process context)
The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.
Based on the cause of the message, take the following steps:
In the left panel in Configuration Workbench, choose Validation Rule
from the dropdown list and find the validation rule that you want to
include in the policy.
If you find the validation rule in Configuration Workbench, double-click
the validation rule, choose the Basic Information tab page, and then
check the country/region of the validation rule.
A validation rule must have the same country/region attribute as a
policy in order to assign the validation rule to the policy.
Assign the validation rule to the policy again.
If you still see this message, it means that the validation rule does
not support process context.
A validation rule that is assigned only the following input parameters
is process context enabled:
Input parameter PYP_PROC (Fixed selected, Mandatory selected, No Key
deselected)
Input parameter PYP_PROC_INST (Fixed deselected, Mandatory selected, No
Key deselected)
No other input parameters
The old policies (maintained in Customizing activities might contain
validation rules not in this format, such validation rules are not
supported in Configuration Workbench. You can check these old policies
in Customizing activity
<DS:SIMG.PCC_1605_SIMP_CHKTP>Define Check Types</> (under Customizing
for <LS>Payroll International -> Payroll Control Center -> Payroll
Control Center Configuration Simplification</>).
In this case, either create new validation rules in Configuration
Workbench or modify the validation rule in the Customizing activity to
make it compatible with Configuration Workbench.
