PSSC_CONFIG033
- nZDM upgrade is running. Execution of SSP data migration not possible ?The SAP error message PSSC_CONFIG033 indicates that a non-Zero Downtime Maintenance (nZDM) upgrade is currently in progress, which prevents the execution of the SAP Service Provisioning Framework (SSP) data migration. This error typically arises during system upgrades or maintenance activities when certain processes are locked or restricted to ensure data integrity and consistency.
Cause:
- Ongoing nZDM Upgrade: The primary cause of this error is that an nZDM upgrade is actively running. During this process, certain operations, including data migration tasks, are restricted to avoid conflicts and ensure that the system remains stable.
- Locking Mechanism: The system employs a locking mechanism to prevent changes while the upgrade is in progress, which is why the SSP data migration cannot be executed.
Solution:
- Wait for Completion: The most straightforward solution is to wait until the nZDM upgrade process is completed. Once the upgrade is finished, the locks will be released, and you can proceed with the SSP data migration.
- Check Upgrade Status: Monitor the status of the nZDM upgrade. You can check the upgrade logs or use transaction codes like
SPAM
orSAINT
to see the progress of the upgrade.- Post-Upgrade Activities: After the upgrade is complete, ensure that you follow any post-upgrade activities that may be required before executing the SSP data migration.
- Consult Documentation: Refer to the official SAP documentation for any specific steps or considerations related to your version of SAP and the nZDM upgrade process.
