  • Show details Hide details
  • What causes this issue?

You changed the screen contents and chose "Delete" without first
    choosing "Enter".
The delete function can only be used when the screen contents have been
updated by the program (by choosing "Enter"). The reason for this is as
    follows:
If, for example, one character number is overwritten by another, the
new number is added to the character number list when the screen
contents are updated. This means that the screen lines can move. This
makes it impossible to choose a line for deletion. In order to prevent
this, this delete option was removed.

    System Response

The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.

    How to fix this error?

Choose "Enter", then, if necessary, position the cursor on the line to
    be deleted and choose "Delete".
