    System Response

    Master data maintenance is not possible.

    How to fix this error?

    Master data can only be changed if the control record of the payroll
    area currently valid for the employee has the status "released for
    correction" or "exit payroll".
    If the payroll run is complete, you can use the payroll menu to change
    the status of the control record accordingly.
    You can display and edit the control record directly using transaction
    PA03.
