Before a container can be assigned to a loading area or shipment it must
have a packing material. It is this packing material that will be
entered in the shipping unit of the shipment to which the container is
assigned.
In this case the system is unable to determine a packing material for
the container &MSGV1&.
The container cannot be assigned to a loading area or shipment.
Enter a material number on the container master. From the packing
screen you may double-click on the container to display the container
master. From here select 'change' to update the container master and
then 'save' to return to the packing screen. On return select 'refresh'
to import the changed data.
The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.
