What causes this issue?

The start and end of a material assignment require zero stock. That
requirement must be met if meaningful analyses are to be carried out.
Therefore, goods movements are only possible with respect to a material
assignment if the end date is not set. Setting an end date leads to a
goods movement block for the assigned period.

No further goods movements are possible for the time frame of this
material assignment.

How to fix this error?

The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.
