    In the Customizing activity <DS:TRAN.COMM_PRAPPLCAT>Assign Category
    Hierarchies to Applications</>, you have specified that the hierarchy is
    to be used for the "Purchasing" (02) application. This means that the
    material groups are created in this hierarchy during a download.

    System Response

    The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.

    How to fix this error?

    Delete this setting. If the hierarchy R3MATCLASS already exists, assign
    this hierarchy to the "Purchasing" application. The material groups are
    then created in the hierarchy R3MATCLASS.

    Procedure for System Administrators

    You can switch the message off in Customizing. To do this, choose
    <DS:TRAN.COMCPRMSG>Configure Customer-Specific Messages</>.
