  • Show details Hide details
  • What causes this issue?

The supplier business volume data, settled income, and provisions for
income are stored in the Purchasing Information System under the version
    number '000' when the <GL><GL:information_structure>information
    structures</> are updated.
However, the list output contains supplier business volume data, income,
and provisions for income for version '&V1&' (that is to say, NOT the
data that has actually been updated and which is relevant for operative
    purposes).
Within the framework of the recompilation of the statistics, the data is
initially compiled under a separate version. With the aid of the user
parameter 'MCR' (user master), you can analyze the data from the
compilation using the list reports of the subsequent settlement
    functionality.
The same function is also available to you within the framework of the
    standard analysis.

    System Response

The function was performed without errors. This message is to inform you
that the list output does not contain the data used for operative
    purposes.

  • What is the cause and solution for SAP error message MN368 - List output contains data on version '&', not the actual data '000' ?

The SAP error message MN368 indicates that there is a discrepancy between the version of the data being processed and the actual data that is expected. This typically occurs in the context of material master data or similar data structures where different versions of data can exist.

    Cause:

    1. Versioning Issues: The error suggests that the system is trying to access a specific version of data (indicated by '&'), but the actual data available is from a different version (indicated by '000'). This can happen if the data has been changed or if the versioning is not properly managed.

    Solution:

    1. Check Data Versions: Verify the versions of the data in the system. You can do this by checking the relevant transaction codes (like MM03 for material master) to see if the version indicated in the error message is available.
    2. Update Data: If the version is outdated or incorrect, you may need to update the data to ensure that the correct version is being referenced.
    3. Authorization Check: Ensure that the user has the necessary authorizations to access the required version of the data. This may involve checking user roles and permissions.
    4. Consult Documentation: Review SAP documentation or notes related to the specific transaction or module you are working with to see if there are any known issues or patches available.
    5. Contact Support: If the issue persists, consider reaching out to SAP support for further assistance, especially if this is a recurring issue.

    Related Information:
