Message text: Remove incomplete BOM components
When creating a material document, the structure of a bill of material
is found to be incomplete. When editing the different components of a
BOM, some, but not all, components are removed from the user with the
help of the functions <LS>Cancel</> or <LS>Back</>.
Clean up incompletely edited BOM components.
Use the <LS>Back</> function to return to the item editing process. You
can remove surplus items manually by resetting the entry quantity to
zero. You can access the maintenance of the entry quantity via the
detailed view, where you can double-click on the particular overview
item. If you are unable to change the <LS>entry quantity</> field in
the detailed view, you can use the function of the previously displayed
query <ZH>editing incomplete BOMs</>, whereby the entry quantities of
the surplus components are automatically reset.
BOMs that are edited in this way, are not transferred into the current
material document and are accessible for processing goods receipts in
the future.
The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.

- Remove incomplete BOM components ?The SAP error message M7367 "Remove incomplete BOM components" typically occurs when you are trying to process a Bill of Materials (BOM) that contains components that are not fully defined or are incomplete. This can happen during various operations, such as creating or changing a BOM, or when trying to use a BOM in production planning or material requirements planning (MRP).
Cause:
- Incomplete Component Data: The BOM may have components that are missing essential data, such as quantity, unit of measure, or other required fields.
- Invalid Component: The component may not exist in the system or may have been marked for deletion.
- Incorrect BOM Status: The BOM might be in a status that does not allow for processing, such as being locked or not released.

Solution:
Check BOM Components: Review the BOM in question and ensure that all components are fully defined. Make sure that each component has the necessary data filled out, including:
- Material number
- Quantity
- Unit of measure
- Validity dates (if applicable)
Validate Component Existence: Ensure that all components listed in the BOM exist in the system and are not marked for deletion. You can check this by looking up each component material number in the material master.
Release the BOM: If the BOM is not released, you may need to release it to allow for processing. This can typically be done in the BOM maintenance transaction (CS02 or CS01).
Remove Incomplete Components: If there are components that are not needed or cannot be completed, consider removing them from the BOM. You can do this in the BOM maintenance transaction.
Check for Configuration Issues: If the problem persists, consult with your SAP configuration team to ensure that there are no underlying configuration issues affecting BOM processing.
Use Transaction Codes: Utilize transaction codes like CS01 (Create BOM), CS02 (Change BOM), and CS03 (Display BOM) to manage BOMs effectively.
