This typically occurs in the context of production orders or material requirements planning (MRP) when there is an inconsistency or issue with the component quantities.

    Cause:

    1. Component Quantity Reset: This error usually arises when the system detects that the total quantity of components required for a production order or a bill of materials (BOM) item has been reset or is not matching the expected values.
    2. Changes in BOM: If there have been recent changes to the BOM or routing, it may lead to discrepancies in the quantities.
    3. Order Modifications: If a production order has been modified or if there are changes in the order status, it can lead to this error.
    4. Stock Issues: If there are stock discrepancies or issues with the availability of components, the system may reset the quantities.

    2. Review Production Order: Check the production order for any modifications or status changes that may have affected the component quantities.
    3. Re-enter Component Quantities: If the quantities have been reset, you may need to manually re-enter the correct quantities for the components in the production order.
    4. Check Stock Levels: Ensure that there are sufficient stock levels for the components required. If stock is insufficient, it may lead to resets in the quantities.
