  • Show details Hide details
  • What causes this issue?

A characteristic value was chosen for characteristic &V1& for the
report. The selection conditions are not compatible with this.
An example for this is a report that uses a form in which only the
current fiscal year is to be selected. It is therefore not meaningful to
enter the previous fiscal year when you enter the characteristic values.
The system normally prevents this sort of situation arising. However, if
the form is changed subsequently or if particular entries are made for
the variables, such inconsistencies may occur. In such cases, the change
in the form or the entries for the variables have a higher priority.

    System Response

The characteristic value for characteristic &V1& was deleted.

    How to fix this error?

The system automatically ensures the consistency of the report. If,
however, you do wish to choose a value for characteristic &V1&, you
cannot do this by simply altering the relevant entry on the screen. You
must change the form or the variable entries, as appropriate.
