Message number: 468
Message text: Characteristics were unlocked (see long text)
Using this function, the characteristics of a data structure are also
released for deletion with existing database tables, meaning the pre-
set ADD-FIELDS technique (only new fields can be appended) is exited.
The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.
You can now delete characteristics from the data structure; when
saving, the data structure is updated accordingly. When activating an
error may occur (data must be converted). However, after the log is
output by the mass activation program, you can call up the database
utility (SE14) and convert the data with that. Only start this
conversion if other errors have not been reported in the log. Note also
that forms in the layout entry and reporting must also be revised if
they refer to characteristics that have been deleted from the data
structure.
