What causes this issue?

The planned quantity specified in the <LS>manufacturing order</> is
assigned to a later period than that specified in <LS>variance
calculation</>.
In make-to-order environments, check the period specified in variance
calculation.
Example:
In a manufacturing order, the planned quantity and the planned costs
were for the period 10/2000, but in variance calculation the period
specifed was 9/2000.

System Response

Variances are calculated if the message type is not <ZH>E</> (error).

How to fix this error?

The message type can be changed with the user-defined error management
functions.
If you do not want to calculate variances, set the message type in
user-defined error management to <ZH>E</> (error).
Note the following:

The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.

In the standard system (without the Schedule Manager), the setting in
user-defined error management is <ZH>I</> (Information).
If you are using the Schedule Manager, the standard setting for
user-defined error management is not visible.
