KT199
- Not all entries have been deleted. & and activation were deleted. ?The SAP error message KT199 ("Not all entries have been deleted") typically occurs in the context of cost center accounting or internal orders when attempting to delete certain entries, such as cost centers, internal orders, or other related objects. This error indicates that there are still dependencies or references to the entries you are trying to delete, preventing the deletion from being completed.
Causes:
- Dependencies: The entries you are trying to delete may still be referenced in other transactions or master data. For example, if a cost center is assigned to a cost element or if there are open transactions related to the internal order, the system will not allow deletion.
- Open Transactions: There may be open postings or transactions associated with the entries you are trying to delete.
- Authorizations: Lack of proper authorizations to delete certain entries can also lead to this error.
- Data Consistency: The system may have detected inconsistencies in the data that prevent the deletion.
Solutions:
- Check Dependencies: Review the entries you are trying to delete and check for any dependencies. You can use transaction codes like KSB1 (for cost centers) or KO03 (for internal orders) to see if there are any postings or references.
- Clear Open Transactions: Ensure that there are no open transactions or postings related to the entries. You may need to reverse or settle any open items before attempting to delete.
- Use the Correct Deletion Method: Ensure you are using the correct method for deletion. For example, if you are trying to delete a cost center, you may need to mark it for deletion instead of directly deleting it.
- Check Authorizations: Ensure that you have the necessary authorizations to perform the deletion. If not, contact your SAP security administrator.
- Data Consistency Check: Run data consistency checks to identify any issues that may be preventing the deletion. You can use transaction KAH1 to check for inconsistencies in cost center data.
- Consult Documentation: Refer to SAP documentation or notes related to the specific error message for additional guidance.
