  • What causes this issue?

You are creating a new time interval for an existing profit center. As
a template for this, you are using a profit center which belongs to a
different profit center group in the master data hierarchy. However,
the profit center must belong to the same profit center group in all
time intervals. The system therefore replaces the profit center group
of the template profit center with the profit center group of the he
profit center for which you want to create a new time interval.

    System Response

The hierarchy area from the template cannot be used. The system will
    adapt it automatically.

    How to fix this error?

The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.
