KJ602
- RA data exists for version 0. RA key cannot be deleted ?The SAP error message KJ602 indicates that there is existing RA (Results Analysis) data for a specific version (in this case, version 0) that prevents the deletion of the RA key. This typically occurs in the context of project accounting or controlling, where results analysis is used to evaluate the financial performance of projects.
Cause:
The error occurs because:
- Existing Results Analysis Data: There are already results analysis records associated with the specified version (version 0). This means that the system has processed some data that is linked to this version, and as a result, it cannot allow the deletion of the RA key.
- Data Integrity: SAP enforces data integrity rules to ensure that deleting an RA key does not lead to inconsistencies in financial reporting or project accounting.
Solution:
To resolve this error, you can take the following steps:
Check Existing RA Data:
- Use transaction codes like KOB1 (for displaying actual line items) or KSB1 (for displaying cost center line items) to check if there are any existing RA records for the version in question.
- Identify the specific entries that are causing the issue.
Delete or Adjust RA Data:
- If the RA data is no longer needed, you may need to reverse or delete the relevant results analysis entries. This can typically be done using transaction KKAO (for results analysis) or KKA2 (for reversing results analysis).
- Ensure that you have the necessary authorizations and that you follow your organization's policies for data deletion.
Consult with Finance/Controlling Team:
- If you are unsure about deleting the RA data, consult with your finance or controlling team to understand the implications of removing this data.
Check Configuration:
- If the issue persists, check the configuration settings for results analysis in the controlling module. There may be specific settings that need to be adjusted.
