  • Show details Hide details
  • What causes this issue?

You are calculating work in process using the confirmed yield and the
planned costs for the operations carried out up to now. The planned
costs for the operations are calculated using the information in the
<DS:GLOS.standard_cost_estimate>standard cost estimate</> that was used
to calculate the current standard price.
This information can only be used to calculate the work in process if
the results of the cost estimate were saved as a cost element
itemization (that is, split according to cost element).

    System Response

The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.

    How to fix this error?

Go to the costing view of the material master record of material &V1&,
select <LS>Extras -> Costing details</> and see which cost estimate was
used to calculate the standard price in this period.
Call up this cost estimate and see if the costing results were saved as
    a cost element itemization.
If you release the cost estimate, its results are written to the
material master record as the standard price. You can only release a
standard cost estimate once in a given period.
