Message text: Activate order management in controlling area &1 in &2
You assigned an order to an account although Order Management is not
active in controlling area &V1& in fiscal year &V2&.
Since Order Management is not active, neither a check nor a consistent
update of the data can be ensured in Controlling. The order you entered
can only be evaluated as an actual account assignment. It is then not
updated. A cost center possibly also included in the account assignment
is only debited statistically.
If the restrictions specified under system activities are no problem for
you, you can deactivate this error message.
The <DS:SIMG.SIMG_CFMENUORK3OBA5>"Change message control"</> step (work
area "KI", message number "140") in the "General Controlling"
Implementation Guide (IMG) is used for this.
If you use the "Order" field to store separate information for a posting
in the SAP system, you should better add customer-specific fields to the
coding block.
The <DS:SIMG.SIMG_XXAK_OXK3>"Maintain coding block"</> step in the
"Special purpose ledger" Implementation Guide (IMG) is used for this.
