What causes this issue?

You tried to transfer sales orders that are assigned to a project (in
the Project System) to Profitability Analysis (CO-PA). For you to be
able to do this, the characteristic "Sales order history" must exist in
CO-PA. However, this is not the case in operating concern &V1&.

System Response

The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.

How to fix this error?

Add the characteristic "Sales order history" to your operating concern.
To do this, choose the function "Maintain operating concern" in
Customizing. Select the option "Change data structures", and then
select the field "Sales order history" (field name "SORHIST") from the
field catelog.
Then save and activate the operating concern, and regenerate the
environment.
Also in Customizing for CO-PA, you can use the function "Segment-level
characteristics" to specify whether the sales order history should be
used as a characteristic for defining profitability segments, or
whether it should only be contained in line items for informational
purposes.
