  • Show details Hide details
  • What causes this issue?

You want to assign company code &V1& to HR organizational unit "&V3&"
(key &V4&). Due to the inheritance principle, this organizational unit
is already assigned to company code &V2&.

    System Response

The system cannot assign the company code &V1& to the HR organizational
unit "&V3&" because to do so would mean company codes &V1& and &V2&
would overlap and you defined such overlapping as "not permitted" for
controlling area &V4& (see Customizing settings for enterprise
    organization).

    How to fix this error?

Either change the Customizing setting for controlling area &V4&
(enterprise organization) or assign the company code to another HR
organizational unit that is not yet assigned to a company code via the
    inheritance principle.
