SAP Error Message - Details

  • Message type: E = Error

  • Message class: KAP5 - Projects: Report Writer and Report Painter

  • Message number: 001

  • Message text: Report group & cannot be used (see long text)

  • Show details Hide details
  • What causes this issue?

Report group &v1& uses &v2& group variables for characteristic OBJNR
(object number). For worklists, you can only use report groups that use
only one group variable for the object numbers.

    System Response

You cannot use this report group to generate evalations using
    worklists.

    How to fix this error?

Use a report group in whose definition <ZH>one</>one group variable is
used for the object number characteristic. The system uses this
variable to transfer the objects from the worklist to the report.
Note also that the report groups assigned to the Project System (PS)
cannot, as a rule, be used for worklists. Report Writer reports are
assigned to applications in the header information of the relevant
library. The project reports delivered in the standard for library 6P3
are assigned to PS and cannot, therefore, be used for worklists.
If you do not want to create reports of your own using the Report
Painter or Report Writer, you can use the standard report groups 6SM1
for orders or 6SM2 for projects. These groups are delivered in the
    standard.

The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.
