- Logistics Execution -> Handling Unit Management -> Define Storage Locations for Handling Unit Management.
- Ensure that the relevant plant and storage location are configured to manage handling units.
Material Master Settings:
- Check the material master record for the material in question. Ensure that the handling unit management indicator is set correctly.
- You can do this by using transaction code
MM02
to view and edit the material master.Storage Location Settings:
- Verify the storage location settings to ensure that it is set up to handle HUs. This can be done in the same IMG path mentioned above.
Warehouse Management Settings (if applicable):
- If you are using WM, check the warehouse settings to ensure that handling unit management is enabled for the relevant warehouse.
Testing:
- After making the necessary changes, perform a test transaction to ensure that the error no longer occurs.
