The inventory document number range pulled the last number from the
interval assigned for inventory documents. The number is '01'.
The number counter for inventory documents is reset to the starting
value of the interval. Further inventory documents are counted from the
starting number upwards again.
Make sure that any old inventory documents have already been archived.
The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.

- This can be done in the configuration settings under SPRO > Logistics Execution > Physical Inventory > Define Number Ranges for Physical Inventory Documents.
Check Document Type Assignment:
