If the <LS>Basic Pay</> (infotype 0008) changes mid month in a month
within the maternity protection period, the system calculates the
supplement to maternity pay based on the relationships on the last day
of the relevant month. Therefore, the system does not calculate the
supplement to maternity pay proportionally with regard to the various
basic payments within this month.
The warning is issued in the payroll log.
To receive the correct supplement to maternity pay in this case, enter
the supplement to maternity pay (model wage type <LS>O450</>) in the
infotype <LS>Recurring Payments/Deductions</> (0014) or in the infotype
<LS>Additional Payments</> (0015) manually for the entire maternity
protection period.
The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.
