- Data record contains contribution to HI/CI, field BYKK is not maintained ?The SAP error message HRPBSDE5Z082 indicates that there is an issue with the data record related to health insurance (HI) or pension contributions (CI) in the payroll processing. Specifically, the error states that the field BYKK (which typically represents the contribution type or category) is not maintained, leading to the error.
Cause:
- Missing Configuration: The field BYKK is not populated in the relevant infotype or payroll data record. This could be due to missing configuration in the system for the specific employee or payroll area.
- Incorrect Data Entry: The data entered for the employee may be incomplete or incorrect, leading to the absence of the required contribution type.
- Infotype Maintenance: The infotype that should contain the contribution information (such as infotype 0014 for recurring payments/deductions) may not have been properly maintained.
Solution:
- Check Infotype Data: Review the employee's infotype records (e.g., IT0014, IT0015, etc.) to ensure that the BYKK field is correctly populated. You can do this using transaction codes like PA20 or PA30.
- Maintain Contribution Type: If the BYKK field is empty, you need to maintain it with the appropriate contribution type. This may involve entering the correct values based on the employee's health insurance or pension plan.
- Review Payroll Configuration: Ensure that the payroll configuration for health insurance and pension contributions is correctly set up in the system. This may involve checking the relevant tables and customizing settings in the SAP system.
- Consult Documentation: Refer to SAP documentation or help files for specific details on how to maintain the BYKK field and the implications of different contribution types.
- Testing: After making the necessary changes, run a test payroll to ensure that the error is resolved and that the contributions are being calculated correctly.
