  • What causes this issue?

The child's first name and last name were copied from the master data
    for Family Member/Dependents (IT0021).

    How can this happen?

In the Family Member/Dependents infotype (IT0021), a child with the name
"Max" was already created for the person. If the HR administrator
manually enters a child with the name "max" in the Maternity
Protection/Parental Leave infotype (IT0080), the spelling is aut
omatically adjusted to that of the child stored in the Family
    Member/Dependents infotype (IT0021).
If the name of the child is spelt incorrectly in the Family
Member/Dependents infotype (IT0021), it must be corrected in that infoty
    pe.
