Message type: E = Error
Message class: HRPAYDESVEE - Data Exchange for Compensation Benefits (EEL)
Message number: 119
Message text: Please note the changed procedure for preexisting condition request.
The procedure for the repetition of requests for periods of preexisting
conditions was changed with EEL data record version 09 as of January 1,
2018. In the case of a preliminary response, the SI agency now checks if
they have received a corresponding statement and then sends the
notification to the employer.
The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.
If the SI agency responded to a preexisting condition request with a
preliminary confirmation (for example, "Check of Work Incapacity"), it
is generally no longer necessary to send another request to the SI
agency (in the form of a repetition of the preexisting condition
request).
After eight weeks at the earliest, a preexisting condition request can
be repeated if the SI agency has not sent any notification in this
period. Check if the repetition of the preexisting condition request is
really necessary.
