  • Message type: E = Error

  • Message number: 036

  • Message text: No wage type for benefit &1 (Sec.23c SGB IV): &2 &3

  • Show details Hide details
  • What causes this issue?

The employee has an absence outside of continued pay, which requires
special calculation of contributions according to sec. 23c SGB IV.
The decision as to whether contribution-liable income exists cannot be
made, because there is no wage type for the amount of social benefit per
    calendar day.
This error message can also occur for past payroll periods.
The social benefit is not specified for:
    Social benefit type &v1&
    Period &v2&/&v3&

The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.

    Overview of social benefit types:
A Sick pay (or per diem sickness indemnity) without bonus
    B Maternity pay
    C Child benefit
D Sick pay (or per diem sickness indemnity) with bonus
    E Transitional pay without bonus
    F Transitional pay with bonus

    System Response

Payroll is performed for the personnel number.
The SI contribution calculation is probably incorrect, however, as it
assumes that there is no contribution-liable income.

    How to fix this error?

The wage type for the social benefit by calendar day is read from
infotype 0700, subtype DBHE. The report <DS:RE.RPCEEVD0_IN>Process
Confirmations of Compensation Benefits</> creates this infotype record
if the social benefits carrier sends a corresponding confirmation with
submission reason 71 (amount of compensation benefit).
Alternatively, the social benefit by calendar day can also be entered in
the master data using a wage type.
If the corresponding notification from the social benefits provider has
not been received yet, run payroll for the employee without social
benefits. Once you receive the notification, correct the SI contribution
calculation through retroactive accounting for period &v2&/&v3&.
