contribution has been stored in the contract model (or capital coverage
procedure), or
A percentage was stored for an additional contribution amount, but an
(employer/employee) contribution amount is not to be calculated since
the contract model is only to be used to calculate compulsory
contributions (capital coverage procedure).

The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.

contribution amount or contribution is calculated in an individual case
does not depend on whether a percentage has been stored for this in
Customizing, but on whether the relevant indicator has been set in
infotype "ASB/SPI Data" (51).
The percentage for either an additional contribution amount or an
additional contribution must be stored in Customizing (even if you
should no longer have any such old cases), since the system uses this
value to determine whether ring fencing of the SPI is financed using the
contribution procedure or the capital coverage procedure.
